  • Ha.

  • bit rich coming from you two!!

  • has this not sold yet?

    if not, why not?

  • What happened to the cranks, EM?

  • Cranks are on ebay.

A similar pair (Arms only) went for £197.00 last night. I've put BIN at 200 for arms, chainring, Veloce BB and original dustcaps and campagnolo CR bolts.

    Starting bid 150

Many many people watching them. No one buying yet as they've still got 5 days left.

That's what I'd like to know.

  • For those of you not wanting to ride a brakless frame

As Murtle pointed out, there are plenty of options if you want to swap the forks out.

  • no excuses now chaps.

  • As a matter of interest, can anyone tell me what's different between Record Pista and Super Record Pista arms? I know the chainrings were different (record had the inner concentric support ring, super record were fully cutaway like the modern ones), but are the arms different and if so, how to differentiate?

  • The ones we know and love are Nuovo Record, non?

  • The NR era Pista stuff is either 'Record' or 'Super Record', according to velobase, no 'NR pista' mentioned. Dates from

    1967 - ?

  • Where's Dwayne when we need him?

  • Everyone needs a Dwayne. Always.

  • The frame is sold pending pickup.

  • hoorah!

  • I'll celebrate once it's been picked up

  • and paid for as well I hope.

  • If pickup doesn't happen, i'll take it off you.

  • Was advertising it as a 54" frame meant to make maxcrowe be interested in it?

Nuovo Record was never a group AFAIK. The NR rear changer first appeared in catalogue 15, and dissapeared by 17 (superseded by SR).
The only difference AFAIK between Record and SR hubs, is that the SR had a titanium axle. All other part #s correspond. I suspect that the same was true with the cranks.
I'll dig out the catalogue and check

    cranks identical, chainrings different
complete sr chainset would come with ti bb axle till it got discontinued

nr still feature in catalog no 18

  • The Super Record and Record track cranks are listed on separate pages of the Campag catalogue, and are labelled Super Record and Record respectively, but they have the same part numbers! Number 757 for the right crank and 758 for the left crank. So they must be the same.
