I'm unimpressed with the lack of patriotism from our Australian forumites. What happened to Australia Day rides and pitch black laps of Richmond Park (without Richie and his troublesome gooch)?

That is something else. Over 375km a day for A$1.41 per km cycled. This guy deserves more.

This thread deserves an Olympic bump.
Yesterday the awesome Aussies managed to double their gold medal tally, putting them level with a ginger bloke from Huddersfield. -

I am looking forward to the Meares / Pendleton sprint!
I am not enjoying the Aus / Brit rivalry media war.

• #1096
I'm not enjoying the Aus/Brit medal ratio.
But not much I can do about that so I'll just have to beat you at the races I'm in. ;0)

I am Australian, remember !

For heavens sake. For years we had to endure the Aussies wiping the boards with us and enjoying it. Australia used to come fourth in the medal table with horrifying frequency for such a small and far away country, half of whose population have migrated to London anyway. We came back in Bejing and now have reversed the usual shape of things. Let us have our one moment in the sun.

I think the whole Aussie/GB battle is really close!
We're tying on twelve silvers - it could go either way.
