Moving to east!

Im moving to east london, like bethnal green area this coming summer... like end of august. I was wondering if anyone knew where abouts to look in that sorta area that would be good to check out?

I am looking for a 2 bedroom place, with a budget of like £1000per month.

I used to live in a really pleasant mews in Mile End- it was off Mile End road but backed by one of the jewish cemetarys, lovely place and it was IIRC £1,100 ish.

Small, but had a garden and the neighbours were very nice.

I really liked living there and was hugely surprised as the East end of Londons famous London is a massive shit hole.

As for a grand a month for a 2 bedroomed flat in Bethnal Green, you'd be lucky to get a 1 bedroomed for that much. At least in the newer flats anyway.

My experience of east london was hackney and getting post nickd, motorbikes nicked, cars nicked, if it asn't nailed down it was nicked even through two security gates.

I lived in BG for roughly 1y... house robbed twice, one bike nicked, shit neighbourhood... overpriced.
Save your time and money.

East's not all bad... head out further than Bethnal Green though, Viccy park area, London Fields or Hackney wick are all pretty good....
