  • The problem is parcel force don't give you the option of picking the item up yourself, and so charge you the handling fee and if you argue, they have your package.

  • Pretty much that^. I never had a good customer service from them either, the depot in Camden is full of uptight cnuts behind the customer desk, you pay and feel hopeless and abused.
No I do not agree with a handling fee when I'm already paying customs and have to collect it myself.

  • Regardless of you picking it up from their depot, you think that Parcelforce should get your parcel from customs, pay your customs charges on your behalf, deliver the parcel to your local depot and let you know they have it, all for free?

They are not a government run charity. Remember they don't get a cut of the original postage fee you paid.

I really don't see the problem. You know you are going to have to pay it, if you don't like it, don't have anything sent from abroad.

  • Rene is cool.
Gabe, at NJS export, won't do anything as gift though.

It is his partner not Gabe who is not doing the gift.

It is that insurance thingy that is a problem.

Ill try to see if I can talk to his partner when I get to Tokyo.

    S/F,
    CEYA!
