  • Friday daytime ride, casual pace 20-25miles in the countryside. Anyone interested?

  • What time you thinking?

  • I'm flexible but I'd prefer earlier than later in the day, leaving 10-11ish. back before lunch.

  • this still happaning?

  • Since we've just had our third attempted burglary of the week, I'm gonna stay in with my mom until my sister gets home :( You gonna come to mass though? Be nice to see you!

  • Shit thats some determined theifs

  • Yep, stole one van and my mom's hubcaps/trim a few months ago. My dad fitted hidden immobilisers to all our vehicles so they have had two failed attempts at stealing the new van/minibus this week. Then tried to get at my bikes inside. LAME!

Meeting in Cov and riding out to Kenilworth to meet a few others, and then a bit of a jaunt around the lanes and pit stop at The Case.

  • Heading out on Wednesday, probably around 10am, 1-2 hour hilly ride I reckon. Planning to push myself on the hills and cruise on the flats, so if that fits with your training schedule, come join.

  • Riding to earlswood lakes from kings heath in a bit, all welcome. PM pour mon numero de telephone.

  • Earlswood lakes is pants. Shame there isnt many places to ride to around here I guess.

  • Whats so pants about it? I love chilling there in the summer with an ice cream! There are plenty of places to ride to, you are lucky you live in South Birmingham - it is so easy to get out into the countryside from there.

  • Shame you can't windsurf on it, would be much better than edgbaston res. Angling is so gay

  • Its the most boring place ever, just a couple angling pools in amongst suburbia. I reckon we (I mean somebody that isnt me) should organise a ride that follows what the Kelloggs Tour of Britain did through Birmingham. Been around the same bits walking/in car. Looks great for riding, if a bit intense.

  • I ride alternate days.
    You could come too.
    Get in touch.
I can ride at a pace to suit you.
    If not.
    Enjoy bike snooker.

    Thats my birmingham outlook.

  • I will add though.

    Birmingham is shit.

  • Ha ha.

I'm probably going to go out on Thursday. 30-50 miles I reckon, probably leave around 1pm.

Plenty of places, I've a stack of different rides I do heading out of the city centre to the South of the city maybe.
Just get on bikely a bit and plan some.

  • Tuesday evening - 50km ride out in South Birmingham.
    Leaving Digbeth at 6pm.
    Join in.

  • What sort of ride?

polo has moved to Tuesday pista, next one im in though

  • What sort of ride?

With regards to terrain? Varied. There are one or two sections to get the heart rate up on.

Speed? As fast as the slowest rider.
