and thinking it looks horrendously hilly. Am I the only person who thinks headwind+hills+12 miles more than a century=a lot of hard work?

I'm getting withdrawal symptoms from lack of riding my road bike. Heading out for a couple of hours tomorrow morning if anyone wants to join

I now have a meeting at 11, so if we meet at 9 it can only be about a hour's ride. Maybe just down to Earlswood and back?

What time does your meeting end? I forgot I'm going out tonight, so a later start would be better anyway.

probably about 12:30 so I don't think after is going to work, as I need to stuff my face and head down the reservoir to catch the wind at 2, probably not the best conditions for cycling anyhow (gusts of 35mph). I'm planning to go for a ride with my mate John (he came to polo once) on Saturday though, probably to Worcester. But then you work Saturday's don't you? Shit.
