Cheers for the help guys.
Here are some more photos.
I removed the bar plug, but it didn't help. You can kinda see that the plastic housing has rolled under it's self. Loosening the bolt holding on the throttle helped a bit, but I couldn't get it off with ease. The threads gone on the bar plug, but that's minor.
I'll try and replace these photos with some without the bar plug.
On the lever, it's really short so I'm not that confident using the front brake as it's very grabby. But I can work around it.
Thanks again.

Hi all!
I am confused. I could not start the other day. Battery was flat. I went to a car parts shop and bought jump leads. The guy said I could start my motorbike from a car without problem as both batteries are 12V. I highlighted that amperage was probably different. My friend came with her care and I successfully started the bike. That was 2 weeks ago, everything is fine since.
Now this morning my boss had a flat battery on his Tmax. He called two garages and they said to him he should never start his scooter from a car, and he could burn everything... His battery is 12V too, 8Ah, my one is 12V and 12Ah.
I don't know what to trust. A car battery has a much higher amperage, doesn't it?
Any clue welcome...

You don't risk much unless you have a huge difference of Ah.

What is a huge difference?
My bike is 12Ah. My friend's car is a golf Mk2, from the internets it says her battery is 44Ah -

If he want to risk he can try a couple of seconds hopefully it will start if not leave it, you will hear the kicking of the engine go much faster than usual.

Wow! So I should consider myself lucky I did not damage anything! Thanks for the answer!

I really like most of their bikes, although if I had a new Triumph and a few grand to spend on modifications I'd currently go for this, hands down:
You'd set fire to your trousers.
Bonnie engines run hot enough without shoving the exhaust into your thighs. -

just another reason why leather trousers are so full of win :-)

In there you need leather lined with asbestos; still a bit gay.

Not that I would be disgusted.

looking at photographs of young motorcyclists at the ace cafe and 59 club the moby pilot helmet was quite popular in its day. aaahhhh , the stigma free olden days. you could wear a red indian head dress and go to the co-op supermarket and nobody would bat an eyelid.

Dear LFGSS Motorbikelists,
i'm looking into buying my first bike, and came across this;
www.ebay.co.uk/itm/130582656642i 'd be interested to hear people thoughts on whether i should consider it, or avoid it like the plague espechially regarding the engine swap and the fact there has been no change to the documentation.
thanks in advance!

Have you seen their bikes in the flesh? I have an they are really well done, not at all show ponies but proper machines that get ridden hard
