Hard enduro is class, Billy Bolts the absolute boy at it

Hard enduro, yep, even regular grassroots stuff is amazing to watch. Friends of mine do it, they are insane.

Good effort, got to love the Black and Decker workmate earning its keep too. How are you finding the experience of dismantling the engine, frustrating or satisfying?

Good work.

It has got to be one of the best gifts a man could get. Especially when given by another man, out of mutual respect.
My neighbour offered it to me last year when clearing out some unnecessary and unused bits from his garage as a thanks for helping him with some DIY.
I wanted to make a small engine building block/jig but couldn’t get any scraps of wood today. Realised the B&D would work just fine. It was ideal when scrubbing the main dirt off. Quite please with it as a worksurface-cum-engine holder.

They are a hugely under rated tool. I've not paid for one for 40 years as people were just leaving them in the street 10 years ago.

Proper B&D ones or the knock offs?
Have a few early ali h framed ones collect over the years. Never understood why people threw them away as they are so handy

Good work PD! I find doing two strokes quite therapeutic. Sometimes....
I put zipties around the ends of the gear shafts to stop anything getting lost.B&D workmates are sooo useful.

Whilst doing some background reading into the Safety Dance, came across this exhaustive resource:
https://www.youtube.com/c/WiltshireByways/videos
of motorbike suitable trails in Wilts. Felt appropriate to post here. -

WiltshireByways is the guy who looks after the UK TET I believe. He replies quickly on facebook and seems very knowledgable.

That would have been a much simpler plan than start removing some of the pinions! It kinda disassembled itself so I had to roll with it.
Hoping that it does go back together properly. Need to find enough cash for all the bottom end replacement parts (crank assy, bits & pieces) and get it rebuilt.
Then once it’s together and clean, park it til I know for sure about the top end.

My wife was watching me watching regular level Enduro (british stage last week someplace muddy?) and was like 'why though, just why, why is that guy trying to get 100kg of wet hot metal, up an actual waterfall'
Mentioned that is just regular Enduro, showed her some hard enduro, was amazed at the talent, and also amazed at the why. -

Oh, is anyone in the trade? I want to search the frame/engine numbers on this project Scorpa to see if it was ever registered (and/or reported stolen) before trying to reg it once rebuilt.
Looking online I need someone with access to do a reverse hpi or some such wizardry.

Saw this article recently, possibly on here, so apologies if a pea

That's hilarious. Looks like a deathtrap.
-
• #19673
The article says it no longer exists, an oil line ruptured and it went in a ball of flames. So yes.

Never had to lower myself to using a knockoff! I tend to prefer the old H frame. Once you have your foot on the step it's very solid.

Hard Enduro is mental! I don't get the attraction at all. Dead cool to watch though - check out all the Red Bull vids.
