It’s an old Honda Hawk / Bros race bike that someone dumped a load of money in back in the day, then tragically left outside uncovered for 20years. Offered the dude five hundo and he said yes. It’s pretty much a basket case - I can probably get 1500 for it or keep it as a very long term project. I did always like them…

Maybe....it's in very poor shape. Literally every last thing on the bike would need rebuilding. I might take the opportunity to buy one of those cheap Amazon borescopes and have a nose around the engine without taking too much apart.

Oh, in which case flip it as a barn find. Buy something more tenable.

Sherco passed the MOT. Cost me an arm and a leg to get the recovery guy to drive me there and back, but worth every penny to remove the stress of transporting/driving it over.

That’s what I did with the CBR, beheld the catastrophe inside the ports, then did some idiot math, looked at my surroundings, and promptly got rid of it unfortunately.

Yeah - I shouldn’t be sentimental! It is cool though. Tiny compared to the SV650s and the golden era for Honda Quality.

That looks mint (and hot!) Not dissimilar to the scenery round here up near Santa Clarita. Nice one.

Around 35C today, so no wonder it boiled. I was in first on a struggle up hill, then trying to turn around as dead end. Lesson learnt to shut engine off if not moving. And consider installing a fan.

Changed the running lights into LED already. First one no problem, the second no dice unfortunately which I reckon has to do with the polarity. Worth getting another set and hope one of them pans out before rewiring or is it down to the actual wiring that’s causing this?

LED H11 headlight bulb light should hopefully arrive this week, which will be a nice upgrade from the halogen.
