  • Kuba put your name down!

    1 M'boy
    2 coppiThat
    3 veLLo
    4 Kuba

  • Can someone else sort out the travel details this time, I'm snowed under at work?

Some more names would be good too...

  • Say one wants a pair of modern(ish) shorty levers on his vintage machine, what to do?
no aftermarket sets for that model.
I've been trying to find a set of master cylinder and clutch perch, but they most often aren't sold as a pair and it is quite troublesome to look up all the parts one by one before buying any of them.
Should I just buy this set: http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=170671420924

  • Ducati :)

Didn't recognise the girl but did recognise the bike.

  • my lester alloy wheels arrived. they were a part of the package when i purchassed my bmw r100rs. i am happy with the spoked wheels so they will stay wrapped in a blanket. hard to believe they are from 1976

    Awesome!

I'm going to start riding in a tweed suit and a tie....

  • it's a good look.

  • if you've got the bike to match it.

  • ^^ that is an awesome find, really inspiring!
^^^ I was there on my bike last year, take loads of money, Bruge is extraordinarily beautiful and expensive.
I headed around the trenches and first world war memorials, the Kemmelburg, Solesnes. I kept finding all sorts of tiny little cemeteries from small half forgotten battles, then went over to Holland to tilt at windmills. Shame I can't go with you this time, enjoy!

  • It always amazes me when someone living in London says how expensive other cities are.

  • I was telling Loic how expensive Bruges was. The place is a tourist trap. I was just there the other weekend. Don't eat at the marketplace cafes and expect much change from 40 euros for dinner and a couple of beers.

  • I dont think Bruges is that bad - been there a fair bit and if you stick out of the main square and tourist traps there are loads of good restaurants and pubs/bars that are pretty cheap.

  • Yep. And it is a lovely town.

  • Have you seen In bruges?

  • Nope

  • I'll lend it to you, very funny film.

  • Cheers. everyone said we should watch it but we didn't get round to it.

  • RIP Super Sic

Absolutely horrific way to go, one of the brightest talents on 2 wheels lost forever

  • rip

there are debates now on wether various news media should be showing the crash in its entirety.

    any views here?

  • Don't like ambulance chasers.

The footage should be used for inquests, not for people gawp at.

  • Massively disrespectful and insensitive to run that footage.

  • It certainly is, but we live in a different world now. Everything like that that is broadcast ends up on Youtube five or six times over. It's inevitable.

  • one of the video clips on youtube has over a million and a half views

even more disrespectful somebody with over 3 million views appears to have spammed marco simoncelli crash to manipulate search :-(
