This is the best video coverage of a tournament I have ever seen.

Brilliant video, im sick of watching games on shaky camera phones.

Agreed, really nice.
(I still think the crash was Lucas' fault... he loses control of his bike and can't stop/turn well before the actual impact... no brakes/retention! Marc was in a defensive position ready to track back/turn and Lucas turns into the back of his bike.)

Hi JonoMarshall it´s true that Lucas loses control of his bike but when Marc blocks Lucas he was moving and therefore is Marc´s fault. However I think it is the fault of both players and as Johan Cruyff said "the polo is polo"....or was football....?

Lucas was the player with possession of the ball and had the right of way. It was really risky for Marc to come and stand directly in front of his path. I don't think Lucas T-boned Marc, but I don't think Marc was at fault either. He did what he could to protect his goal and the bike payed the price.

No brakes or retention just equals dangerous. He shouldnt have been on there at all in my opinion.
-
• #212
you tell him john...LIKE IT MATTERS!!!

When Lucas made the break it was reckless... but yeah, Marc's not exactly in the best position, I wouldn't have blamed the ref for calling it a defensive t-bone at the time.
Ray, it matters, I need some sort of distraction on a sunny Friday afternoon.
(Also, early start tomorrow? Don't go drinking too much...)

Just watched the video and really can't make sense of the comments.
Lucas clearly rides straight into Marc, how could he not either stop or swerve around the defensive player ?? I'd be seriously worried about playing against someone with so little bike control, and also worried about playing against people who would blame the defensive player for something like this.
Such an obvious t-bone should have resulted in a double tap out or more for the offensive player, no question. -

Lucas' bike control is not in question. He is a very skilled player and rider.
It's a tough call, Marc obstructs, Lucas appears to have his head down controlling the ball, Lucas looks up, tries to stop foot is out of retention, hits marc. Unfortunate occurrence I think. Tough to take a side IMO
