I don't follow how you came to that revelation. What brings you to this conclusion? The video was quite conventional and he suggested starting points of Holmes method for saddle height, KOPs for horizontal saddle position and hip/pelvis flexibility for reach.

Interesting video, he 's probably on the same page as Steve Hogg even if he does advocate the use of KOPs etc.
My views is that if you do have a bike fit done you need to follow it up with a life long committment to Pilates or Yoga. Otherwise it will be a wasted investment.

Bespoke Cyling threw this up on their blog of a "before and after" bike fit for a guy who committed to 4 months of exercises and homework so he could look good on a Dogma.
Pretty dramatic change is possible

I think that fitting jig isn't really in the Alps, I think he's in front of a poster or something....
AND his chain is too loose.

Hey... longer hair and not showing his flab... I'd call that THE improvement.. Position? Still looks about at ease as if he was sitting on a toilet with constipation waiting for Godot...

What's the chances of finding a frame jig and a qualified bikefitter beside an Alpine descent? What a lucky guy! Does he turn the jig around to check his climbing position?

Part of me thinks his bike will look very cool slammed. But that he'll end up back at, or near to, square one. Thus ride around looking lame, on the tops all the time.

Shouldn't this bit be in epic fail? No-one looks good on a Dogma.

Froome looks terrible on a bike. Even in full Wapha, riding a matching pina, he just looks wrong.
Considering he just won the TdF. I'm thinking looking good isnt the best goal.

Always.

That case study is classic tight hip flexors.
I had extreme tightness when I went to see Scherrit and I got my bike fit done and he recommened a good physio to sort me out.
I'd say its easily done. But you have to be committed.

Zed knows best. I no longer wear a helmet or body armour, I just wrap myself up in children.

Quick question...
My road bike is currently set up with a layback seatpost and a 90mm stem, what changes in handling and power input would I see from fitting an inline post and a 110/120mm stem? shifting my weight further forward on the bike, does it make any difference?

It'd likely put a lot more weight on your hands.
