Right, honzo frame is ordered from LBS. Decided to go for the small, if it's to small, I will just cry.
Now just need to decide whether to keep the 12 x 142 dropouts and get normal hope hub and put some spacers on. Or swap them out for the SS option and get the SS hope hub. I know it's been discussed so much on here. Still undecided though.

Does fixed count?

Yes, I took my 29er for it's first spin fixed today, borrowed a cog from a friend and just took off the rear disc.

Beast. Is that the on one?
-
• #3756
Yeah but because it's vertical dropouts and not quite a magic gear I had to run a bit of slack.

^ Good luck with that Indra :-/
I'm sure everything will be fine. Thankfully you're not accident prone.......

I should have a couple of new chainrings for my xtr M960 soon, from Matthias at Experimental Prototypes.....big ring in titanium, and 2 middle rings in aluminium...
He did me a deal on all three, as they were knocking about on his shelf somewhere, already made.
This will stop the chainsuck issue that I've had a few times, hopefully, and for cheaper than the original rings that are made from butter.
Can't wait! -

Just threw some Schwalbe Big Apples on my 29er and it feels so much faster!

Anyone fancy a ride up Snowdon?
I read a nice piece about it on the Guardian website, now I fancy having a go. Two thoughts so far: either rent a van and drive down, or get the train to Bangor, ride 11 miles to the bottom, up-and-down, then back to the station.
Basically there's a voluntary ban on riding it in summer, and during peak times in winter, so it'd have to be very early in the morning, so there's probably an overnight stay involved - either in the back of the van or a bivvy bag. Anyone game?
I'll cross post in 29er/offroad threads...

It's been on my to-do list for a while, but chatting to you the other day dredged it up. In?

How much do you guys think I could get for an on one inbred frame?

For some reason I thought it was Apollo.

Not sure. They're not exactly expensive new.For some reason I thought it was Apollo.
That picture's over six years old. I think Apollo might have been a bit smaller back then :-)

I think he's smaller than you anyway, no other way I would be riding the inbred with the same settings as him lol

1x42 in ti, and 2x32 in posh aluminium....they were knocking around his workshop, so I got them for a bit cheaper..... :0)
Let me know rough dates for the snowdon thing.....I'm going up the 3 peaks with my mate and our sons in June.....I could scope one of em out!.

No date in mind yet, but thinking of doing it in April once I get this pesky marathon out of the way (if my knees still work). If nobody's interested then I'll probably hire a car and have a bash myself.
That sounds more like it.
My beltring weighs nothing, and I have a Hope ceramic BB thats none too porky. So could be a nice set-up.
I'll bash my arozines around for winter. But cheers for the heads up.
