Bring it on! Maybe cycling round on 35c Marathons for the last two months "in preparation" will actually be worth it.

It's TREACHEROUS!!
Funny how the English language has developed a habit of only using some adjectives for very particular situations.
I must say I wasn't fooled by this supposed treachery. Anyone with half a brain would deduce that snow and ice probably means slippery roads.
Apart from motorists of course. Fuckwits.

I've just carefully parked the car up, it may not move for some time if the snow comes in properly.

6 inch deep on top of frozen layer, dickheads with no chains or winter tyres fucking stranded everywhere.....they should make chains law above 200m like abroad!!

It took me a stupidly long time to realise the reason I couldn't see shit outside and tell whether it's snowing is because the skylights are cover in snow... guess that's a yes then
probably going to go out and time how long before I fall off my bike

Looking at the first photo, it looks like you have statues in your garden... Are these pictures of Narnia?

Social media is going to be stuffed with pretty pictures of snow.
Wake me up in spring.

Just rode home from work. 2 miles. Took me ages. I wish I had a fatbike. My old Koga Miyata and I picked our way along at just about double walking pace. Only fell off once.
It it nearly impossible out there.

I rode back a bit earlier and I didn't have any trouble riding, but it was impossible to keep my eyes open it was stinging so much. My newly shaven face is red raw. It feels like I've been in a slapping match with Frank Butcher and all his sovereigns.

The powder is now sitting on compacted ice and forming various layers of slippery stuff.

Almost died coming down Venue hill in New Cross. I should've been smarter and actually come off my bike at the top but decided to stay on. I was skidding all the way down and pretty much totalled off my bike. Good times :)
Look what's currently heading our way...
