Came home from Crimbo hols in Plymouth, on Sunday, to find my steep, 30m long driveway, under 80cm of snow.
Spent 2 hours digging a route to walk to and from the house Sunday;
spent 2 hours digging a route to the car yesterday; and
spent 1 hour diggin out said car and reclearing the driveway this morning.Still, cycling has been interesting/scary/fun :)

TBH the extent of the burial was mainly due to snow sliding off the roof of the house. In the end I dug down to the driver door and simply drove the car forward leaving a nice car shaped mold behind (well a 1/3 of one)

True I cant complain.
Not being able to ride up or down your own driveway, on a bike you actually put together yourself, while living at the forementioned abode. Is a tad embaressing though*.(*Applies all year, on my 48:16 fixed gear)

If we do get loads of snow tonight, is it a good idea to let the tyres down slightly? Is 110psi a good idea in the snow? Any thoughts?

I'd run them a touch below the recommended min. wont make much difference though.
I run my winter tyres (42mm) at 45 PSI in bad weather (recommended 50 - 65 PSI). -
