I might be cycling from Shoreditch to North Acton, leaving around 2/2:30pm today, plugging in a hard drive there (should take about 20 mins), then cycling back, assuming the weather stays good.
Also is anyone up for an Anti-Tweed Run at the weekend. For all people who aren't interested in Tweed, vintage bikes, just didn't sign up, or aren't going for moral reasons but still want to go on a ride. I can do pretty much any time at the weekend, as long as it's not early morning on Sat.

Just stick up a separate thread, John--I doubt that people will pipe up in here. I'd love to do a ride, but I'm not sure I can yet (injured elbow issues).

For the Anti-Tweed Run? if you think there is demand for it...

Maybe he meant 'Anti-Tweet ride' as he's so fed up with Twitter.

Ok, maybe Anti-Tweed is a bit provocative, let's call it in the Non-Tweed ride then. I do hate twitter though...

What's the moral objection to tweed?

What's the moral objection to tweed?
Dunno, ask object. I guess animals are somehow involved in it's manufacture. I just don't get the whole tweed thing, and want to ride somewhere this weekend.

Well, tweed is made from wool, so:

(And other materials commonly used as part of the 'old-fashioned' revival:
