  • Lewis Hamilton.

  • From twitter:

oscar pistorius could go on the overseas list.

  • Oscar Pistorius WILL go on the overseas list.

  • oscar pistorius could go on the overseas list.

Who? Is he out of sesame street?

  • Lewis Hamilton.

My fridge has got more personality than that boring twat

  • Your fridge has more personality than most sports people Mike.

    It's certainly more.... cultured.

  • oscar pistorius could go on the overseas list.

Oscar Pistorius WILL go on the overseas list.

Who? Is he out of sesame street?

I'd imagine you could fit him in a bin fairly easily, and he would look pretty pissed off about it.

  • You're a sick man, Luci.

  • Disableists. The lot of you.

  • Oscar Pistorius WILL go on the overseas list.

wasn't he shite at the olympics though
    his time is past

  • Dereck Chisora

hehe loving this suggestion, Chisora is the man :D

  • David Weir.

    .

  • Ellie Simmons.

  • In between fluffed cues, raging sexual chemistry that powder-puff Lineker and Sue 'still not over Cliff Richard' Barker can't ignore for much longer and Clare Balding hiding her role as Dettori's preferred coke dealer with more effortless broadcasting to compound on her Olympics success, HRH Firmly Middle Class will be on hand to give her some stiff competition in the nation's sweetheart stakes while she doles out the flagship awards. No doubt Catherine's our Sporting Personality of The Year for services rendered, but the BBC seem to have overlooked that award.

None of which will detract from the real stars of this evening. My money's on Wiggins.

  • Shame the bookies is too theory, or you would be in for a pile.
    It's gonna be good.
I want Jess to win, she's so inspiring to young and old, top realist sweetheart.

  • It's a really hard one to call this year.

In any other year, so many of them would win, without question.

    Brad, winning the TdF
Murray, winning the first grand slam for Britain in ages
Ainslie, winning gold 4 olympics in a row
Ennis and Farah, for the publicity generated after their wins
Hoy, 2 golds, and 6 in total
McIlroy winning a major, and the ryder cup comeback
Storey, 4 golds, and 11 in total,
    Weir 4 golds.

I think not enough people like Murray, so he won't do it, and I don't think Ainslie, Storey and Weir have enough publicity.

Personally I don't think someone should win it, just for doing something someone does every year. But it doesn't always work that way, publicity means a lot.

I think it will be as follows:

    1) Ennis
    2) Farah
    3) Brad

But we have had many cyclists winning recently, so I guess Brad and Hoy have a shot.

  • generating publicity is a rubbish excuse.

  • Spamming friends and family to vote for Wiggo. Then I'm going to tuck into some beers so I'm nice and belligerent by the time the winner is announced.

  • good to see Vicky on the front row

  • this is gonna make us all feel tons happier about being full time bikers :)

  • Austin Powers.

  • respect to Dave Brailsford, coach of year,
    across all sports
