The Forum is like a family to him - any chance we could get a get well card passed around the drinks?
I'm not back till next thursday. by then i am half expecting him to be sat at the greyhound with his single malt rolling a fag trying to negotiate another set of campag wheels. He is one of the best

I'm more than happy to buy a card and bring it to Souths next Monday for folks to sign. There's a card shop near here that has a good selection of large cards.
Then maybe Dammit could take it to SE drinks on Tuesday?
-

More than happy to do that, if we get a move on we could get the card to Easts tonight, then give it to Paul next Wednesday with the card having gone to every compass drinks?

What would make him chuckle is a card signed by all the bike shops in london.. wishing him a speedy recovery as their profits are dropping off ;)

Just thinking logistics and how it might be received... how about one from each drinks?
This way he gets a nice stream of cards one a day the day after boozing... and there's no risk of the card not making it the full way around everyone.
There's enough people that will want to sign it that would make this work.

a small card for the easts then.

just cos you ain't been in a while -

Very sad news, Paul - words cant describe how you have cheered me up no end with your tales and your computer tinkering, Sitting in your old kitchen making tea surrounded by bike bits (even a boxed conti innertube in the fridge next to the milk) still makes me laugh - I hope you feel better soon.
Also I can help paint fiddys room altho I think he quite likes the child colour scheme, maybe we should just change the name on his room door?
can also provide a laptop if we still need one

I still think one big card with 200 signatures would be better- surely we can manage the logistcs of handing a card to another drinks goer?
One of the designers on here could put together a nice card- maybe using the tweed run photo's, then printing it out an a sheet of A3?
All the best Paul. Get well.
