  • Still need to replace my other nitto bullmoose with these. Is there a nice sweep on them?

  • Would love a pair of these in 1 1/8 ahead for my all city if they ever did any . Although they were designed for Rivendell so I doubt they will.

  • As ever with Nitto there are many variants, the beauty of them. I think these are the only blunt-nosed ones, and they have the least sweep. But they are an ideal sweep for me. Others have more sweep and there is one with a flat stem iirc.

  • Yes, I have the 0 degree set and fancy some with rise for the frame I think. Long live nitto

  • Where is the for sale forum?
    Thx

  • Thanks! I placed an order with SPA, but I don't know what happing there.

  • Thanks again for the tip! It saved some money and I got help with chasing/facing.

Will dropp the bar down a littel and mount the front fender when I get some p-clips of the right size.

  • Today I tried mounting the front fender after getting some sweet ass blue p-clips. It did still not work out since I cant get the SKS Bluemel close enough to the crown of the work to clear the tyre.

Is there a better fender option, or how do I solve this worldly problem?

  • Maybe just go for clip ons?

  • But there is alot of pics with people with full fenders and big tyres. I want a piece of that!

  • I cant get the SKS Bluemel close enough to the crown of the work to clear the tyre.

Is it hitting the brake caliper or is it the bracket that stops it going any closer to the crown?

  • Its the bracket that is causing the problem now. I´ve tried to cut it down beacuse it was hitting the headset. Now the slit is too shallow. What is a good fender for this?

  • Maybe moving the fender behind the fork crown gives you enough room for the tire? because not only the bracket, but also the rivets would then not be in the way anymore. But with the brake you've got you would need a different recessed nut, such as the problem solvers brake nut (still cheaper than new guards though?)

  • Also, behind the fork crown you might be able to space it out far enough so that it also clears the headset

  • Yes, moving the fender back should help the situation. The curvature is strange now and it does not cover the feet that well. It turns out that the nut I needed was a Problem Solvers Sheldon Fender Nut. That is something to suck on.

    Thanks for the help.

  • “A Problem Solvers Sheldon Fender Nut“ sounds like something out of a Douglas Adams book

  • Haha, yes! And today I got myself some Sheldon nuts. Now I have full length rattle free fenders. I´m going to commute this like there is a tomrrow, just the same as today, for the next thiry years...
