Some lovely Steamrollers in this thread. Keep them coming :)
I'm looking at buying one myself very soon. What size frame would you guys recommend? Height wise I'm between 6foot3 and 6foot4.
Cheers

Cool - thanks for that :)

I'm 6"2, ride a 59 steamroller with risers and a 56 pacer with drops and hoods. Both bikes has identical measurements in terms of pedals / seat / grip, ie I need a shorter top tube for drops and hoods. So depends on what kind of cockpit you want?

• #1567
But if you're 6"4, it sounds like a 59 either way

Maybe worth going to says, Brixton Cycles and trying out some of the Surly in stock to see which one feel "right" to you.

i'm 6'3 and my 60cm pacer was too small at the HT, i've ridden a 60cm CC with Albatross bars and it worked but not with drops, again, HT too short.
now i've a 62 CC and Roller and i'm a happy boy.

6' and I ride 56 rolller and CC. I put a longer stem on the CC, same saddle, seat post and handle bars.
Put new winter tyres on the roller last week, been a pleasure riding the last few days, had a slight mishap on friday, wheel came forward causing a chain slip, lucky not going to quickly when it happened. Really tightened up everything, but broke spanner in the process. Hope it doesn't happen again, must buy new spanner on way home tonight.

I bet you are praying for it to snow.
Post on my 1x1 slipped when I had a slightly too large clamp on it. It still tightened up bit didn't hold the post. Is yours the correct size?
