It's nearly finished. I just need to decide on a paint colour. Possibly flamboyant purple with black headtube and seat tube bands. The decals are gold.I think it's a 1951 R O Harrison frame because of the serial number, although the lugs look like a Bill Hurlow/Mal Rees design but with slightly larger curves. The fork crown, brake bridge and track ends would probably rule this out being a Bill Hurlow frame though.
Components are Titan Stem, Stratalite Madison Bars, Stronglight 49D cranks, Lyotard Berthet Pedals, Airlite Hubs, Mavic MA2 rims, Panaracer 27 x 1 tyres.

After number 2 is born, i intend on getting gem all set up so she can come and ride with us! This was the design that Noah and I came up with... What dya recon. Would have a front brake and a load of cheapy stuff, but will be sweet.
Tom from Donhou Bicycles said he will build up a custom frame and forks for me (site not up and running yet, but watch this space!). The stuff he has done so far is super sweet. You will probably see Keppel rockin' one before long!

Weeeeeelllllllllll, I spilled a cup of tea all over my laptop and the landing, so I cleaned that up. Then I had to pack for the weekend. Now I'm procrastinating by reading this forum.

Big, 40mm tires, wheelset from Spence, pedals from my old Dawes.
Running 48:18 at the moment, but the BB and cranks are knackered anyway. Anyone want to help me get them off and fit the BB and cranks from the Dawes I have? I think that's a 36T so it should sort the knackered BB/crank problem and the ratio problem.
Should get some sort of straps as well I guess. Also need to get that light hanger off the front, but can't get the stem out - will rotate, but not lift out.

Bring it around at some point. I will get the stem out for ya.I also got BB< cranks and bash ring, can help with discs and make a frame pad! Get in son!
CharlieandI are gonnamakesomestraps up. Got matrials and plans but no working sewingmachine atm. Watch this space!

Sweet. They're cottered cranks in there at the moment - not sure how they're coming off. When are you free? I'm off Monday and Tuesday.

• #246
And how much are the cranks and what sized chainring?
-
• #247
I will charge you in lager, and Monday/ Tuesday should be fine. They are 32t I think, and have a spot of jean rub. They will look fuckin cool!
Will let you know @ some point. Gem got discharged last night, but had to come back in today to have her spine blocked. Sounds worse than it is but will cure her growing migranes! She is going through it atm.
Speak soon. M
