League subs.

I'm not against splitting the league in theory, in practice it may just deflate people. Wait and see how many teams there are for the league next year I suppose?

You can always challenge teams to a few warm-up/practice games outside of the league, play whoever you want whenever you want... your league standing doesn't stand in the way of team polo.

Would top 5 and bottom 5 swap positions in the divisions, or something, or how would that work?

I just really like looking at the 'Best of the West' (and reminding myself that we have a game in hand over Tap-Out and that Cogs are not a real West team now).

If we got to 20 teams it would make sense in my mind to split into 2 divisions. I assume there would be 2 or 3 promotion/relegation slots to play for which would encourage more intense games - more teams have more to play for. For me this would be more engaging than some of the clinical 5-0 5-0 5-0 defeats.

I don't really know and as Aidan says, it's totally in advance of even being an issue. It probably depends on where your team is in the league as to your opinion on it. I just know that I would rather fight for a spot in the top division than 15th out of 20.

Saying that, I'd rather play every team in the league, it's more fun, less exclusive, and the scores vary more.

I do agree with Gabe's. More on playing every team and how important this is to the development of players and teams but I also agree that if there are 20 or 30 teams next year the effects the devision could create. Doesn't really need to be thought about in any great deapth, im just on far to much medication to not over think everything at the moment.
