    A mycoprotein identified from a mould sample found in a back garden in High Wycombe, grown on a substrate created by ICI as a byproduct from one of their processes (gluten or starch, can't remember). Bound together by albumen from Battery Hen eggs, it is then frozen to create the 'meat' texture ...
    And to get it through regulations, as it is a mould basically and potentially toxic, they had to use the LD50 test ...
