Whats the verdict on the lab grown burger?
Is it vegan? It's taken from animal cells, but no living being killed or injured or harassed in the process...

As far as I know, there are two parallel initiatives going on. One is taking actual animal cells as the basis for their product, and the other one is using plant-derived cells. I haven't made up my mind on it. Generally, I'm in favour of neither highly artificial approach and find both distasteful, although if pushed I'd probably 'prefer' the plant-derived one. It's not of any great importance to me personally, and with artificial product creation methods which might be suitable for mass production, part of me always worries about subsequent commercial exploitation.

I haven't been to either, largely owing to almost never being in Camden or Soho.
Those Nazi connection allegations, which I had to look up as I didn't know anything about them, look bizarre.

^^Lucy Melbourne is vegan heaven! Im not even sure where to start so Im just going to list things randomly.
Lord of the fries is pretty much the last word in vegan junk food! Theres one at flinders st station, melbourne central, one on elizabeth st and a proper diner in Fitzroy.
Las Vegan on Smith St in Fitzroy is beyond amazing, the vegan schnitzel is incredible. They also do pretty mean cake too.
Cupcake central in Melbourne Central shopping center does epic vegan oreo cupcakes (oreos are actually vegan in Aus).
Trippy Taco in fitzroy does vegan tofu burritos.
Gasometer in Fitzroy does vegan chicken and waffles!
Yong green in fitzroy does really amazing organic asian food.
Soul food in fitzroy has a fair few vegan options including vegan lasagne on occasion.
La panella bakery does vegan doughnuts and pastries (quite far out of town though).
Theres a few vegan chinese restaurants dotted about the city (Enlightened cuisine, white lotus) and most of the dim-sum/dumpling joints do veggie dim-sum that are vegan.
Laksa King does a vegan laksa and theres also a vegan pizza place thats opened recently but Im not sure where that is.Feel free to pm me if you'd like me to put you in touch with awesome vegan folks in Melbourne.

Hmmm. Not convinced by plain. What do you find Tsampa good for? Or is it just tasty?

Hmmm. Not convinced by plain.
Well, try adding your favourite jam(s), you'll have your own customized yoghurt!
What do you find Tsampa good for? Or is it just tasty?
I like it because it's tasty, and gives you energy while beeing sort of light on your stomach.

Who knows a place in London where I can go and find some formal vegan shoes?
I am supposed to show up at a wedding next week and I can't find anything to go with a black suit. My last resource will be a brand new pair of Vans authentic in black but I'd like to try at least to find alternative solutions.I was thinking about Vx, I know they have some vegan shoes, but I don't remember a huge selection... Any other place in London that might be worth a visit?
^ This; plus generally eat carbs in the evening if you want to gain weight.
