Overkill. The IQ-X by itself is plenty bright enough for riding, even in the pitch black IMO.

Anyone tried using a P clip to hold an Edelux to a rack strut? Too flimsy?

Tried it, seems pretty solid... might just put a pit of gorilla tape around the outside just in case....

Mate of mine also recommended looking into jubilee clips for a similar attachment, though maybe a bit further back. I shall buy these things and report back.
