How is the mudguard mounted, and is it permanent? Affix the light to the mudguard?
Or always, p-clips are an option. Or a piece of Meccano or similar to extend a normal bracket to make it long enough to use the other hole? -

Maybe something like this?

Much neater

Mudguard is a maybe. Ideally I'd have some that works with or without it (ie. take the place of the little spacer that's between the mudguard and the crown currently). Piece of meccano is certainly an option, or just get a strip of 6mm aluminium and drill some holes for something a bit stiffer.
@PhilDAS that looks handy, will definitely suffice if I decide to leave the mudguard on.

That's exactly what I want! I saw that mount, but I'm not sure it projects far enough in front to work with the beefy carbon forks. Is this yours?? Can you measure?

Not mine.

A big old dredge here, but this setup looks awesome. What's the bracket you're using under the fork to mount the front light? Anything you'd do differently?

Obvs ideal to have the rear light up much higher but it's certainly a very good setup that hasn't put a foot wrong.
Had bracket custom made. See post below :

Very nice - do you know if Paul is still making stuff? I should be able to handle some flat stuff but I have other ideas for a seatpost mounted waterbottle cage that I might try and run by him. I'm very much missing have access to a machine shop :(

Pretty sure he is.
I contacted him through Instagram I think but he's got a Facebook page too.

Yay, Supernova Triple finally arrived. Only 3 months late. At least I go the TCR discount though.

Dynamo setup is coming together! Sinewave Revolution arrived today, need to work out a good way of splicing it with the light wires. My intuition is to break the cable at the fork crown and put in a terminal block to join the wires up, so I can remove the Revolution if I just want to run lights. Other option is piggyback spade connectors.
Are there any particularly good/ clean setups that people have seen out there? / reader's wives.

Does anybody know where I can find a rear dynamo-light mount like the one above?

I am using one of these - https://www.condorcycles.com/products/portland-design-works-fenders-eyelet-set
Looks nice and tidy

Recently picked up Sinewave Revolution off the forum. Wired it all up but getting no power out the USB connection, only heat and a quiet buzzing which changes pitch depending on the speed of the wheel.
My light works just fine off the piggyback spades that the Sinewave is wired up with and the heat from the Sinewave leads me to believe that it's wired up fine.
Any thoughts or advice?

P-Series dynamo hubs are ideally suited to 26"/700c bikes at 6V-3W
output.what happens when these are mounted on a 20" rim? Will this not just produce more power than needed? Maybe resistance is a bit more than the 20" specific hub??
-

It'll kick out more power (I think).
I looked into using a small wheel dynamo on a bigger wheel and found it wouldn't give me the 3W I wanted (if it created 3w at 20" it would be around 2.5 ish on a 700). So I figure a 20" wheel rotates quicker so will generate more power.

Anyone have a recommendation for attaching a dynamo light to a Specialized pizza rack?
Got a new light mounted but it's front and centre and looks really weird. I'd much prefer it tucked away to the side.

Thanks @amey + @Cloak/Dagger!
You have abated my woes.

Anyone used one of those k-edge combi mounts with a b&m light? Looks like there should be a way of making it work:

Ah yes, just like that.
Thanks.
I'm trying to work out how to mount a dynamo front light out of the way of the handlebar bag - the obvious option is at the fork crown, but I'm hampered by a lack of front-facing bolt hole. There is a bolt hole that goes up into the steerer, but it's set pretty far back (28mm from front of fork) and I'm not sure if there are any mounts that would clear this.
Has anyone done this before?? Struggling to work out my options. This website had a lot of stuff, but nothing for this setup. Backup option is at fork eyelet, but would rather have the light higher.
