What kind of bike? Rose Bikes do some cracking deals on full wheelsets with Shimano dynamos
https://www.rosebikes.co.uk/search?q=dynamo+wheelset
For my commuter they have been bulletproof.

I love the iqX, my only complaint is the bracket is a bit shit, change it out for a steel one and it's much better

That's exactly what I just ordered, but cheaper - where were you when I needed you, @coldharbour.

Probably working hard running your own business? Typical.

Another vote for the IQ-X. Rode many a pitch black canal path with one on my CX bike over winter with no problems.

Aiming to wire up and experiment with set ups tomorrow (measure once cut twice)
Is there somewhere i can go to pick up more son connectors and extra wire / heat shrink when it all goes wrong?
South London suppliers preferred.

Some Maplin stores are still open I think.

Looks like Supernova's tail light (in black) with seat post mount sold out everywhere.
Does it anyone know when it will be available again?
I am very tempted to get E3 Pro 2, but mainly because of superb taillight.

Blimey. That’s neat and clean. I’ve just put a new front light on but it’s a mess of road grime and a couple of rolls of electrical tape!

Why so low with the rear light?
Can it be easily swapped to the other side for mainland Europe?

Why so low with the rear light?
Can it be easily swapped to the other side for mainland Europe?Because I didn't supply a bracket to the shop :)
Hopefully get it on the otherside with p clips before departure! -

Cable ties are my enemy, dynamo wiring-wise. I don’t really get how few frames have good routing guides / drillings to neaten this shit up.
When I get my Last Bike custom, it’s going to have drillings, little guide tubes and cable grippers brazed on everywhere.
First I need a couple of grand ...

Have you tried the Di2 external wire cover? It's £8. With a hairdryer and a little planning my track bike ended up looking surprisingly good with it's dynamo cabling. Was a great shout from @gillies. Whom we should have trusted to begin with as he has Archer as his avatar.

It is an Igaro D1 https://www.igaro.com/d1
Converts the dyno-power to something usable for USB devices.
