  • great tournament, great games, great new skills, awesome mvp.
nice to meet some known and unknown guys/girls from london. see you in barcelona or in london in april. good night.

  • Well done LDN.
Looks like you had better weather than Sydney.

  • What a great weekend! The organisation of the whole event was awesome. Being picked up at the airport (with a crate of beer!). Ferried around all weekend. Games running like clockwork. The awsomest high tech scoreboard. Sweet goals (slightly longer than bike length - the future), nets worked a treat. Shape and boards used for court was great (UK supplier sourced). Only downside was the very slippy tiled surface, but it was a great leveller. Favoured the passing game I guess (although Zombie handled their speedy play well and Mike/Yorgo hardly ever went slamming through the barriers as I expected!). The whole tournament was played in a very good spirit and there were very few contentious issues (partly due to the goal design). The standard of play was superb and a joy to watch. The UK matches were pretty much all the best ones entertainment-wise and we certainly had the most vocal support!
On top of all that the hosts/organisers were so friendly/helpful/accommodating we couldn't ask for more - a huge thank you to everyone involved - well done Karlseruhe - you rule!!!!

  • GO Zombie! Didn't see that coming at all... Good work!

I loved the format BTW... amazing set-up. Well Done Karlsruhe and all involved.

  • best picture of the weekend - funny drunken morgan

    ffs.

Looking forward to more SAFE FOR WORK pictures of what sounds like a quality weekend.

  • Hannes have you got the low down of all the scores/placings? silly question really

  • Zombies SUCK!!!!!!!!!!!
It was one of my 2 favorite game (iron ponies-ZU) since i play polo, thanks!
The draw against malice was also a great moment, nice to try to play 3 vs 2 +goalie, even if you were winning... like this my teamates can score 2 times in 40 sec, good for the show.

Incredible tournament KARLSRUHE, amazing organisation, i pee on myself for our Genevian EHBPC2010... i hope that you could send us some advice and help (or material, like this fantastic goal :D)

i will try to put some of games on vimeo-.
I just finish a lil' clip about this tournament, soon on vimeo too...

  • Thanks for all the support back at home, London. It was great to see y'all paying such close attention. Big London Love.

@Netto - You can crash at mine tonight. Adam has my number or email.

  • Thanks Dr V... Think we're crashing at Golden Wheels when we get back, we're flying back with them so seems like the easy option....

  • can we get some more details on the boards that were used? they seem to be universally praised. better than the traffic barriers used at london's EHBPC last year?

  • ah ah just saw the final tag of this thread
