^deter the police? Critical mass is meant to be a friendly non violent outing to raise cycling awareness in london.

Plus its their job, they don't get the choice of not being on the street because its cold.

there arent many on here who have the enthusiasm to go and be bothered to be clued up riders,
when the atmosphere gets better, ie. if people go for reasons other than to have a ruck and film it.
maybe then lfgss will have a group again.

I go whenever I feel like it. The December one has always been small, though, and if the weather carries on like this may well not happen at all.

I think there have been rides with only half a dozen people on it, but I don't know of it not happening at all (much as you might say that a CM ride with only a handful of people isn't a CM ride, of course). Could still be lovely, and you could make new friends.

I'm going, work permitting, then down to forum 'Brockley drinks' that's actually in New Cross. Hope to see some of you lot there. Might even ride my sweet track whip if the weather stays like this.
