Cheers - I'll start doing some searching.
Just really liked the way all the spokes feed the same way thru the hub.
...also owee - when you say 32h is that refering to the fact that you can only do this 32h? - Ans.. yes crows foot only works in multiples of 6 apparently

I know it's all a bit academic now VB, but why did you go for 175mm cranks?

I'd like to welcome the buyer to the Yellow Bob Jackson Club!
So long, David...

it's gone to a very good home (not with me - it's a shade too big for that) and will be treated well.
does this mean the leader of lfgss no longer has a fixed gear or single speed bike?

How much

I dunno, it'd be gauche to say. He may have made a massive profit or something...

It's just vulgar to say.
It's a beautiful bike, a thrill to ride, the new owner is happy and so am I as I needed the space really badly. I'm not very commercially minded but I think I got a fair price for it, but I don't really want you all pawing over the value and telling me it should've been more or that I shouldn't have sold it. It's just great knowing that the new owner loves it and I'm really glad it's gone to a good home.
As for the wheels, hybrid crows foot = half 2-cross and half straight. I don't know whether to attribute how great those wheels are to that spoke pattern or the spokes themselves (Sapim CX Ray). They ride incredibly smoothly though and really deliver power when you want them with very little flex.

Power.
When I had my cycle fit we played with crank length, and there were 2 benefits from the 175mm for me. 1 was that my knees were kept in line a lot more, and 2 was that I was pushing a lot more powerfully (possibly due to #1).
So for me, 175mm just proved to be the right length. The 2nd cyclefit I had reflected this, so my new bike also has 175mm.

i don't think its vulgar at all.
how on earth is the LFGSS Parkers Used Fixie Guide ever going to evolve if key pricing info on such a prime example is withheld?
bollocks.
I've met you, and everyone else who has will agree you are just two midgets on each others shoulders. crowe has the worst deal, being ugly as sin he has to support max the whole time, even though max is no oil painting.
