REAL!
There has been a more "undisputable video" of him practicing a while ago when he was learning them:
I more in awe of all those van drivers going around in reverse to fake that video :-)

I'm voting real.
You can see him compress and then straighten his arms as he pulls it up, his arms go pretty much completely straight as he throws his weight back.
If it was reversed that would mean he straightened his arms out as the front wheel came down which noone does, you bend slightly preparing to soak up the landing.
The shirt does look wierd but i dont beleive the chain tension shows anything, when bmxers do fakie wheelies they spin their legs faster than they have to coz if the freewheel catches up with you forcing your legs/pedals round then it fucks your balance upsimilarly here he wouldn't be driving the bike backwards he will be rolling on momentum and balancing it. If the chain was always tight on the bottom ie bioke being driven backwards there would be zero chance of keeping the wheel aloft. -

To my eyes the majority of movement to the t-shirt is being caused by his legs moving it as they hit the bottom of the t-shirt

Why on earth he is using carbon forks though is beyond me!
Those forks are Wound-Ups (Google 'em). They're built for cyclocross so are plenty tough, and by all accounts are The Bollox™
They cost a bomb.

I think it's real, but this thread is fake. Some sort of viral marketing for macaframa.

@0.20 there's definitely a little silver car going backwards (quite quickly) in the background. Surely the other riders are just going backwards for the fake..?

oh good spot! the more i watch it the bloke riding alongside him looks a little wobbly as if he's riding fakie.

that is amazing, never knew it was taken to that extent, especially the sync girls.
yea, so that plus any BMX video basically make fixie trixters kinda null and void. It's underwater basket weaving.
and all of this is ridiculous. it's clearly easily possible and done by more than a handful of humans. real or not in this one.

i still don't understand why macaframa costs £27.
-

i have seen people do it but i think that vid is fake, just because of his shirt ripple and chain tension :)

how does he do the one footed bit on a fixed? is he skidding?
And I'm +1 on the German teenage girls pissing all over him.
But I hear he likes that sort of thing, so it'd be fine all round, I guess.
