Well that's definitely the most frightening thing I've ever seen.

I'm almost certainly going to have nightmares about that thing this evening..

The whirring is going to haunt me.. I can imagine hearing that noise getting louder and louder but not knowing what it is and then seeing it bound towards me through some thick fog.

I just don't like how heavy and capable of keeping it's own balance it looks. Unstoppable all-terrain wardog.

I hope that it's being developed as a way of getting people around who've lost their legs. I'd love one to ride on...

I think Robot Dog is misunderstood. It's the only one of it's kind getting kicked around and humiliated by humans, people are scared of it and want it destroyed. It's done nothing wrong, it just does what it's told and carries on walking no matter what.

^ I agree but at the same time it's very impressive. I think the fact you think it's brutal when its kicked and feel sorry for it means it has succeeded in looking and behaving a like an animal. Namely, a dog :-)

the Control system programming on that dog must be bloody amazing ... when he kicks it over .. it actually tries to regain balance in the way that you would see a person, a cat or a dog try to regain balance.
