Wow. That is incredibly impressive. Nice one!

That is definitely the best robot dog I've ever seen. Especially funny when the guy boots it in the side and it stays on it's feet.
-
• #4
It's crazy innit? Just as cool when it slips on the ice.
-
• #5
And when it does the huge leap.

Mental.

I kind of feel sorry for it, it looks like it tries so hard at everything and it walks a bit like a newborn pony but they won't give it a head and they make it do stupid things and kick it around.
-
• #8
You feel sorry for it? God help you when they turn on us.
-
• #9
I do know what you mean though haha.

There's something quite brutal about the researcher kicking it and seeing it recover its step.

^ I agree but at the same time it's very impressive. I think the fact you think it's brutal when its kicked and feel sorry for it means it has succeeded in looking and behaving a like an animal. Namely, a dog :-)

those legs look toooo real at times.
-

It looks like two Gekkos from MGS stuck together at the nose.
I love how it struggles to keep balance when slipping on the Ice, and get it in the end. Hillarious
-
• #16
Well that's definitely the most frightening thing I've ever seen.
-
• #17
Yeah, this is just terrifying.
I'm just waiting for military researchers to give it a face and weapons, then I'm off to the woods with tinned food and a shotgun.
'Why did you kick me, Dave? You didn't need to do that'
-arming weapons systems-that whine is the whine of the coming singularity.

This is the rise of the machines.

Horrible, staccato, wailing, headless, soulless, all-terrain deathdog. It could only be worse if they drenched it in the entrails of murdered prostitutes and called Cerberus.
-
• #20
If it was fast and covered in spikes that would be enough for me.
-
• #21
It's speed is perfect already! In the nightmare scenario I can hardly bear to imagine, it would slowly get closer and closer but you'd would be paralysed, unable to escape.

Paralysed with fear. FFS it's so creepy to imagine.

I realise this is old, and it's been on here before, but i've only just seen it and think it deserves a repost. Awesomeness.
