  • Guy on the Reepham Road today about 2.30pm riding a black bike (maybe a Fuji). Bullhorns with black tape. Think it was ss and had a blue rucksack.

  • Seen that chap with the Fuji. Black hair, maybe about 22 years of age I'd say at a guess aha

  • I saw another lady with a ridiculously nice Paganini

    Euph?

  • Saw two young ruffians riding fixed up Unthank yesterday, one of them had electric blue untaped drops, riding brakeless very slowly. So slowly in fact that I got home, got changed, rode back into town and overtook them just outside Pedal Revs. Still, good to see some young people outside.

  • ^ Boast post.

  • Ha, a little, but seriously, they must have travelled about 200m in about 5 minutes.

  • Black Dolan with red grips locked outside Morissons this evening.

  • Red Colnago/messengerbag/cycling cap sailed past me going up Cambridge Street...

    :D

  • Black fixed gear coming out of Freeman's this morning about eleven, didn't see the make.

  • Seen a few people riding fixed and SS around the avenues and UEA campus when I went to see the girlfriend yesterday. Anyone on here?

  • ^^ wasn't black, it was dark burgundy. It was also me. Were you the chap going in?

  • This morning on Thorpe Road, a guy riding fixed on a what I think was a Cooper Spa. Lots of filtering through traffic. Was also wearing a Team Sky jersey. His name was Wiggins I think.

  • ^ He's not taking part in the World TT champs, so it was almost definitely Wiggo.

  • ^^^^ I'm on campus most days. White fixed with track drops and silly clearances

  • ^^ wasn't black, it was dark burgundy. It was also me. Were you the chap going in?
Yep, getting the Dawes serviced. He can chat for England, that bloke.

  • Richard's a great guy, but he can keep you trapped in his shop for what seems like days...

  • I <3 Richard and senior, too. It does feel like a bit of a day out going to Freeman's, but it's all part of it's charm!

  • He wanted to show me some USB lights he had in the window so he climbed up on a cardboard bike box and leaned over precariously, wobbling on one foot. "Careful!" I said. "S' alright" he said.

Ta for holding the door open thross, I like the fraternal courtesy of that shop.

  • Yeah it's a great little step back to the age of a proper shopkeeper, plus he really knows his stuff, and has all sorts of weird and wonderful tools for things that we can't do at work!

  • ^ He's not taking part in the World TT champs, so it was almost definitely Wiggo.

I thought he would be crap in the TT but actually he gave a decent performance. Not a patch on that Martin bloke however. Now that is how you ride a TT.

  • Bahn and another chap on a bike outside my work just now..

  • Loooovely orange and white holdsworth with white deep v's and chrome track drops with blue keirin grips, hossing up the hill past tesco..

  • Possibly the one that dandy sold a few weeks back, not sure if someone here bought it, don't think so

  • I spoke to the guy who had it, as a fellow Holdsworth owner, and he wasn't on here/didn't say.

yeah that's mine, just left work and was on my way to the pub!, it is the one from the dandy horse although I've been slowly putting new parts on it. started riding fixed in the spring and had built my own conversion which unfortunately got stollen a few months back so got this one to replace it.
