-
• #853
How's it going so far mark?
-
• #854
Ah I see, well someone else has one in Norwich, or the person who bought it lives here too!

Guy on a White Langster, looked a few years old, crossing Colman Rd from The Avenues. A black and red 'Coyote' track bike running ss on campus. A guy on a creamy coloured Raleigh conversion going back up The Avenues ahead of me. All in the past hour or so.

Yeah man its awesome. Need to ride it more though...

^Yeah, I see that pretty regularly locked just past the Waffle House.

That's been locked there (most days) for years.
Nice gazelle on old palace yesterday evening, grey/silver with blue bar tape

anyone know if Sam Belcher is on here. aka ginger sam from UEA Dr Bike...
Just curious rehlly
-
• #863
Not sure actually, I think he would be a bit more vocal if he was though.
-
• #864
only been on LFGSS since leaving Norwich for London and always curious who else on here I might know - most people are a lot more forum savvy than me and thus don't use their FULL NAME for their username. sigh
-
• #865
Aha, perhaps that's true. You're no relation to Pete "Peds" Warner are you?
-
• #866
Yes I am, his younger by two years. I would ask how you know him, but everyone in Norwich does!
I've been trying to get him to do some work on his bike for years, but I don't think it's his style...
-
• #867
Ah good stuff. Yeah he's a popular fellow, and I'm into music, so it makes sense that we know each other! He's done a bit to his bike since I last saw him, he's got a new chainset, and I think I've even witnessed him fix a puncture, so there's hope for him yet!
-
• #868
yeah that new chainset came straight from me when i got one, that's how we do things in our family, hand-me-ups!
he's riding ss now, which is ridiculous. he got me into fg!
-
• #869
Aha, i see. Singlespeed makes sense when you're essentially riding around with an entire drum kit as he seems to like to do though!
-
• #870
this is true.
so I'm back in the motherland this weekend, are there any NFGSS rides or anything on? going to be cycling back (w/ train)
-
• #871
When are you heading back? I'm coming in for a weekend from London too. Doing a roadie ride Sunday.
-
• #872
not sure yet, probably go tonight until Sunday arvo, or tomorrow morning until Sunday arvo.
Got a new front carrier to test out so was thinking more bombing it around the city with a box of beers

I saw an old chap yesterday on the corner of Beaconsfield and Silver Road with a nice looking purple Mercian with yellow mudguards. Couldn't see if it was fixed or ss as I was stuck in the post office queue.
White and purple(?) fixed, long hair, green plaid shirt and a chrome bag going down kings street just now.
