I fitted new bars today, so rode about 2 miles brklzz to my lbs to get some new brake cable & outers. It beats me how anyone could ride brakeless without riding gingerly all the fucking time. I purposely rode through estate streets and avoided needed to stop as much as possible but even then ...

Mind you it probably doesn't help that I can't trackstand. Having to slow enough to stop and put your foot down at junctions must be half the battle. This is probably the only time I need to use my front brake.

My pomp was brklzz for a couple of days while I waited for my front disc brake to turn up. Protip, don't skid with worn SPD cleats unless you fancy unclipping going down a hill and riding into a wall

Trackstanded (trackstood?) in tandem with someone on a silver Langster at the lights by The Bell this morning. Would have said hi, but didn't want to throw you (or me) off and cause a tumble!

I feel like I missed out on the golden days of when trackstands were instant cool points

Actually as Norwich is about 4 years behind everyone else, maybe there's time. We need a trackstand competition the next time there's more than 3 of us in the same place. No-hands for tie-breaker

Am I the only one who finds it easier to trackstand no handed?
