I saw him riding down Magdalen Street one evening; he looked pretty normal, rather disappointingly. It's probably my favourite local bike though just for frankenradness.

Yeah it's quite amusing that if you go in there with a bike at lunchtime, you usually get more tuts than you do noises of appreciation!

Got to say I'm very quickly going off DH. Matt and Jack are still helpful, but the rest of the place seems very unwelcoming if you're not there to drop your wallet on a pile of food
-
• #1181
Must be you...always very friendly in my experience
-
• #1182
Are you spending mad dolla on bike stuff?
-
• #1183
No, I'm just a pleasant person...and what I spend on bike stuff is entirely my business
Anyway, I've expressed my opinion and you yours, I'll leave it at that

SunSolo locked by m&s on Sunday
-
• #1185
the SunSolo is mine, that's what I plan on getting painted next week at mastercote in rackheath.

Where else should I voice my opinion? I'm not begrudging anyone else their good service, but I've been made to feel unwelcome by Kayleigh and regardless of how much money I've spent in the shop or the café, or how much I've recommended the place, that's just not professional. There are plenty of nicer places to get coffee in town, I'm not fussed.

That's not to say I have any problem with Matt or Jack's wrenching, they do sterling work.

Saw tonnes of slave rats in London the other day, highlight was a very nice fort lopro, not sure I've seen it on here before.
-
• #1189
That Fort's owned by a friend of the guy that has the really ratty white fixed thing that lock around NUA occasionally isn't it?
-
• #1190
Nope, you said London, ignore me. Long day at work...
There is a ratty Fort in norwich somewhere though, I tells ya.
-
• #1191
You could always try being nice? I find it works wonders...
-
• #1192
No idea? I'm not sure I know the white one
-
• #1193
Ha ok, I was a bit amazed at how you'd know that connection
-
• #1194
Also, I keep seeing a guy on a pre cursa with bulls and white deep v's passing me at about 6ish on barker st when I walk the dog. He still hasn't popped up on here, anyone know who it is?
-
• #1195
What makes you think I'm not being nice? Not like I'm going in and giving everyone the finger. Or are you aware of some grave sleight against them I've unknowingly committed?
-
• #1196
Ha. I've served you many a time and think you're a lovely chap.. Add that to the fact that you've obviously spent a lot of time/money in DH previously and i think its a bit out of order. Me and Cherry have both caught bad vibes off Kayleigh in the past..

lad on a fixed gear with bright green wheels riding down clabon close about 3:45
-
• #1198
If it's black with green wheels then I think it's one of the chaps that works at Tut's Cuts and I thought it was SS and not fixed.
-
• #1199
I also saw a Fuji Feather with deep green rims at Asda last sunday, if it's the same one, risers and brakes

Very nice light blue fixed near DH, and then again in the city, it had bull horns and brown bar tape I believe.. tried not to stare to much, great looking bike.
I agree. I see that most days. Proper good frankenbike.
I liked the yellow euro bike as well and there was a nice green Dawes locked outside Maplin as well.
