My birthday is in 23 days and I'm hopefully getting an Inbred frame to start building up a mountain bike. I've been renting 6-10 times a year, and it's about time I had my own. My local trails are not exactly DH-central, but the wheels would get me rolling.

ah if they are disc only, i'm out.

If the front is still going, I will take it to add to my pile of bits for a polo machine...
I have a rim for the rear, frame, stem, forks, cranks, chainring, chain and sprocket. Pedals on order... I'm going to be rear brake only, so disc only isn't a problem.
Bolt through forks for polo - that shit's getting serious!

Ah, didn't see bolt through.
Disregard. I suck cocks.

Just a thought... how about a raffle or something towards Scott's Santa's little helpers Idea? Or not...

I don't think it's a case of nobody taking them - there was plenty of interest. We just don't know who passed the audtion yet... ;)

Would love these to build the Brooklyn frame that has been sitting in my hallway for months, so i can take other people that dont 'ride' riding!

Not one person yet has shown me any evidence that they could use them properly.
The front is a 20mm bolt through and the rear a 10mm bolt up. You can't put them on a polo bike and they're not going to go on a 15 year old Kona MTB.

Rik, I saw some rigid 20mm boly through forks on ebay yesterday which would be sick for that.
Go on Dovvles, be nice to Rik. -

the rear would fit my mountain bike/polo bike to the T. I'm after a rear wheel with a bolt on, the current rear wheel (QR on no name hub and no name rim) is disintegrating as we speak from too much polo and mtb, the bearings have all gone and the hub is falling apart, this rear would sort the job out nicely. BTW the frame is a DMR Sidekick, perfect bedfellow for a downhill inspired hub/rim. The bike gets a 150mm front fork and wide bars for MTB duties. I'd also love you forever Dovvles :)

they would look lovely on my new Sunn. Free wheels would mean that I could use the money to buy some disc brakes and disc mount forks. Sorry. I know it is cheeky putting a second bid.

they'd go nicely on my 456 in burly mode...

Hello,
If the rear is still available, I would like it. My mate has an old carrera MTB which he has not fixed up so I'm doing it for him. Just need a good rear wheel to finish it. Don't have a picture of the bike, but I can email you a photo of the (ancient, smelly, polluting, dangerous) land rover that will be left at home more often if I get him this wheel. How about it?

Wheels have gone.
The guy who took them was jumping stair sets on them at the weekend.

No worries, thanks for the reply.
i think i should get them. after 10 years of riding a fixed gear for work, (im a courier) and on weekends im finally venturing into gears, but i cant afford to spend a fortune,if i dont like off roading ill freecycle them back through the site
