Last time i checked it was going to be -8ºC with wind chill, and an 80% chance of precipitation between the hours of 6am and 8am. Anyone mind if I tag along in a citroen C2 instead of fixed? :)

It's not looking good. Part of me thinks, "woo-hoo, how exciting and adventurous", but that part of me quickly gets silenced when my pelvis hits concrete.

i saw a nodder hit the deck because of ice by the nursery. needless to say she didn't have 21 other riders riding right up her ass....made me think though. i've been riding to work at 7.a.m and although it's cold it aint a problem. ice is another issue though.

tim, i walked down nursery drive in banbury this morning. as you know, it is the longest road in the world. this time at least made bearable by pulling out some sweet ice queen moves. triple salchow ftw.
bmmf. lets speak on saturday afternoon and try and call this.
yes, i have just taken a large delivery of SKHAs but not keen to award them posthumously

damn, busy then, can we make it 4.38pm. if you can't then i will try and rearrange my prior engagement.
seriously, everyone. the call is being make at 4.37:30. if you can't access the forum after that time on saturday then please ensure you have the number of someone who can. by number i mean phone number, not that you have the measure of them or anything. you have an actual phone number for them.
i hope i made myself clear.

As I was walking Tynan to nursery this morning, the temperature started to dip during those 10 minutes, and you could practically see standing water in the gutters icing over with each passing second. We nearly went arse over tit a few times.
Getting the fear now…

That could be because the temperature dips ever so slightly at sunrise.
I am full of useless shit like this FWIW.
-
• #589
Exciting. I like ice and sliding in to other mens bottoms at 20mph.

I'm out; apologies & cetera. I'm just not really enjoying riding in this weather - I'm doing it very gingerly, which I don't think will sit well with a fast group ride. Hope those of you that make it have a great time.
