I think it was designed as a business phone, and is the only Android phone that's tempting me at the moment. I really like the functionality of the the design - a phoneblet. Haven't heard anything negative about it, but I think it's a niche phone so won't sell as well as the more mainstream fare. I also have a feeling that if it doesn't sell well, it might not get many OS updates.

Very pricey right now, hopefully they will discount them in the New Year.

I believe you have to enable developer mode and plug your phone into a computer, running the android dev software, or something like that...

Depends on what ROM you're using, my Arc has it in the power menu, and I think it is in there by default with ICS, otherwise you have to look around. There are a couple of apps that will do it on the market too

Does that technique work for all Android phones?

I have a Desire S (t updated normally, not modded or anything) & the internet would suggest that you can't screen capture, yet I did it by accident the other day, now it won't do it no matter what I press!

it's mainly a clock replacement jobby, like the sense clock but better and a lot more adjustable

I think it does work. Though a bit tricky to time it just right.
