If you get adb and fastboot on your computer then I'm telling you its literally 3-4 command lines in the terminal.
I recommend using YouTube to get ADB and Fastboot. They have shortcut tutorials aimed at those whose just want to flash ROMs and not build them. Hugely simplified install

It's pretty easy, the pages of questions are generally from people who haven't read everything.

Any reason I shouldnt invest in a Sony Xperia Z3 Compact Tablet?
I'm very taken by the waterproofing and Ant+ integration.
-
• #15691
It's not an investment, other than that no reason.

Yesterday I upgraded my Moto G dual sim (http://www.gsmarena.com/motorola_moto_g_dual_sim_%282014%29-6648.php) to 5.0.2 and since then have been unable to charge. I haven't been able to google a solution - Anyone here have an idea? Factory reset doesn't look like an option, as it's below 10% battery and not charging...

Well yes, investestment was a poor phrase to use.
Reveiws seem to be positive. Other than it being a tad over priced. But as I'd have to buy a USB ant+ dongle with micro USB adaptor, or a tacx micro usb ant+ dongle, if I went With anything else (other than Samsung. But I've had it With Samsung). The price looks more attractive.
I have a bad habit of Reading my e-books in the bath. So the waterproof bit is a big bonus. Plus it means I can Mount it on my handlebars for turbo training without worrying too much about clovering it With sweat.
My main concern was Sony bringing out a New one With their NeXT batch of Phones. I cant really see that happening, With it being so New. But you never know.

Sony's product lifecycle is slow, so it'll be sometime before they replace it.

had anyone replaced a screen on a nexus 5? dropped mine and it ain't looking too clever. I'm not sure if it is worth repairing or looking for a cheap handset to see me through until my contract ends

I'm buying my brother a new phone for his birthday. I am quite happy with my Moto G 2nd gen., but is there anything similar spec and price wise I should be looking at?

Should be a pretty easy job to repair, probably cheaper too

Any Xperia owners here? Mine does a couple of really annoying things i cant figure out.
If you send a text as part of a long running conversation it then jumps to the liddle of the conversation thread so you have to scroll back down to the current message. No idea why or how to stop this.
If you delete a sentence then when you get to the end of deleting each word reappears popping up again individually so you effectively have to delete it twice.
Again no clue why. -

So, upgrade time and the only phones in the price bracket I'm going for (proper budget) are Samsung Galaxy Ace 4, HTC Desire 510, EE Kestrel or Nokia 635, currently leaning towards the HTC but have no experience of any of the other phones and reviews pegs them all about level. Does anyone have any compelling reasons for avoiding or going for a particular phone?
lol
