what is the @mdcc_tester or anyone else knowledgeable solution for using a gxp chainset in a BB30 frame (other than not lining the pockets of people who make BB30 frame sets)...

its been suggested that the Cbear bb30 to gxp is the best option, but at £95 it seems like an expensive solution to the problem.

When riding from A to B, I see (or there seem to be) less people in the middle than at the start or end.

gxp is 24 on one side and 22mm on the other...

This is the GXP version. The Praxis Converter BBs are good. They screw together so don't creak. I used one on @Cycliste's Supersix (RIP) and it worked well.

If you want a permanent solution, I have an FSA press in threaded sleeve (which can actually be pressed out so isn't permanent). You'd need some loctite 609

Am I right in thinking that asbestos is 100% illegal across the EU? Or would there be exceptions for certain categories of products?
I have been asked to document whether a shipment of tiling adhesive is asbestos free, and in my mind they could just as well ask me if it’s plutonium free.

I wouldn't recommend the the FSA sleeve - I had it on a CAAD track +omniums and it creaked like rocking chair. Swapped it out to praxis BB30 - > GXP and it's been perfect for 18 months.
