There's not much real estate in the label though is there?
I'd imagine that somewhere on the label there is something that directs you to the full instructions / COSHH data sheet and advises you to read them before using it.

I must confess the truth: I cannot read.

Which bit?
One is a bent piece of rod with a thread on it. The other is a sleevenut. -

Can you drive a 7.5 tonne lorry on a normal car license?
-
• #99056
Fuck no.
-
• #99057
Yes if you passed your driving test before 1997, no if after
-
• #99058
Yes, if you passed your test when I did.

Category C1 on your license and depending on usage you may also need a drivers CPC.

Sleeve nut in M4, 5, 6 as required

Blimey, so I'm well eligible. Seems dangerous

Ah, those happy days driving around central London in a 7.5 ton rental truck, 8 weeks after passing my driving test in a Nissan Micra at the tender age of 17. With hindsight, probably not a good idea. Still probably a better idea than taking a fully-loaded 7.5 tonner down the Col de l'Iseran a few years later without the benefit of an engine retarder. Stinky smokey brakes.

Thanks @user69121 and @hamrack, I’ll try the vice idea a try!

For the record, the methylated spirits didn't remove the black gunk. I wire wooled it where i could and painted over the rest.
-
• #99067
Did you read the instructions on the wire wool? ; )

Or drink the meths?
-
• #99069
The metthylated spirits was never going to remove the iron phosphate.
The meths should have removed any residual water/moisture from the rust converter,
and, degreased the surface prior to painting. -

And you wouldn't want it to. The phosphate conversion coating is a better starting point for paint than bare steel.

Out of curiosity and because I'm struggling to find much information on this - what's the rim clearance on Cinelli pista and vigorelli bikes like? The tyre clearance is listed as 25c for the pista, and 28c for the Vigorelli (steel) - does anyone own either of the two frames and can confirm there is no 'pinch point' that would cause conflict with a modern wide (~28mm) deep rim?

Is 2500mm brake cable outer enough to route up a bike completely if the wires are internal? Or should I go with 2x that to be safe?
-
• #99073
More than enough to do 2x over...

Is 2500mm brake cable outer enough to route up a bike completely if the wires are internal?
It's plenty for rim brakes. It could be a bit tight for discs.

I'm an idiot and forgot to cancel my home insurance policy before it automatically renewed. Does the 14 day cooling off period apply for an automatic renewal?
Anyone know what this is called and if there's anywhere to source them? I sold as cot where these are missing and I feel like an as.
