For flat bars, not too fussed on coverage just want to explore non-black/silver options :)

You can get DiaCompe Tech 3/4 in a few basic anodised colours, if "non-black/silver" is so important that you're prepared to accept horrible levers in horrible colours

Is there any shop that sells inner tube patches in higher quantities? Like 100 patches for 10€

• #95581
Try Aliexpress

I noticed the other day when freewheeling without being clipped into the pedals that the drivetrain is turning of its own accord, like a fixed gear. Is that likely to be the freehub causing that? Or something else?
What rear wheel/hub is it? My Powertap hub was doing this, turns out that I had been clamping the QR far too tight and due to the Powertap assembly, this was restricting the freehub from spinning...

Good call, will look it up!

It's a Zipp 303. I had tried loosening the QR but it didn't seem to help. I only did it a fraction so I guess it's worth going a fraction more

is anyone here any good at python?

I use it, but I'm not exactly the greatest expert...

Have you built modules for use by some-one else?
if so, you'll count as good in my book.

I know the parrot sketch off by heart but I'm no expert.

I have made a utils module that can be installed in my venv via pip - mostly for my own use, so I can import it as a 'utils' package at the beginning of any file and use the functions in there without having to worry about paths etc. Is that the kind of thing you're talking about?

Ah, shit Zipp rear hubs. They have a preload adjustment ring, which you can loosen off with a 2.5mm allen key, and then rotate to adjust the preload. If it's anything like my Zipp hubs, you'll have a choice between (1) loose, so the rim wobbles from side to side; or (2) tight, so you get rampant freehub drag. That's why I've already replaced three Zipp rear hubs with less shit replacements - Tune, DT180S, Hope.

Mine are the 2016 version with, what I think, is the 17/177 hubs that don't have preload adjustment. I've cleaned the freehubs and replaced the easy to replace bearing last year (and barely ridden them since), so I assumed that the other bearing(s) might need replacing too

Whats the reach of the Etap HRD hoods like compared to Shimano Di2 Hydro?

I know this may encourage 'depends on' answers but on a standard ish M/L 54-56 road bike, would a 104 link chain be unusable on any particular set ups? Any it would/should be fine on?
Cheers

Depends.

(Weeps, half in amusement half in anguish, into tea)
-
• #95596
depends
Insert dependencies at http://www.machinehead-software.co.uk/bike/chain_length/chainlengthcalc.html
104 links will do 53/28 on a dérailleur bike as long as the chainstay length is <388mm

X11SL?
That has cut outs actually.
X11-93? -

yeah, possibly/likely just that '5' is deffo a '5' rather than an 'S' (well at least it certainly looks like it)
What sort of brake lever, and which bit do you want coloured?
