Looking to convert my wheelset's hubs from 110 to 120.. and normal axles rather than the ones with notches for my keirin frame. As I already have the cones and bearings and all, does anyone know where I can just get some standard axles to replace the special ones with?

Good shout! LMNH have said to bring it in and they'll see what they can do, so I'll head there as early as I can on Wednesday...

This thing is described as a "mini exercise cycle"; what is that supposed to mean and what is this bike for?

The London Bicycle Repair Shop just off The Cut. Will need to book, but they are excellent.

^this: london bicycle repair shop are great, I work nearby and I've often used them in the 5 years I've been in the area. i've had work done in the morning recently when i was short for time before a train down to portsmouth from waterloo. they're also next door to a decent cafe. probs worth calling ahead to double check they're not swamped.
edit: @andyp beat me to it, oops (didn't know you could book, good to know - I've always turned up first thing)

Where can I find statistics for road accident deaths by country?
-
• #92260
For reference, the country I am moving to accepts my UK license as such, no need to retake the test.
They do today, but if we leave with no transition then they won't, until they decide which UK documents they're going to recognise.

What's the forum-approved compressionless brake outer?

Anyone know where I can buy some silly 90s wraparounds like these in the UK for not silly money?
Tried ebay, only results are in the US and I need them sooner than they can deliver.

I like Jagwire KEB-SL, think it's their "pro"-level stuff.

Some people like the Dura Ace (I think?) ones - think @PhilDAS has them - I bought these as they were way cheaper than anything else and I couldn't stomach £30 for a set of cables. BMX linear cable outers also work great but they give you a brake cable with V-brake cable head and may or may not be long enough for full outer routing on a road bike. Yokozuna Reaction are popular too.
Have been impressed with those Quaxar ones on my road discs, but the best brake I have on any of my (non-hydraulic) bikes is a full-length BMX linear outer with XT parallel push V-brake.

Ha, I managed to find those exact ones shortly after posting (searching 'ski sunglasses' seems a good start), will get them but hoping for more fluoro.

Yokozuna Reaction if you got a result on a scratcher.
BMX outer by the metre from eBay if your dole's been sanctioned.

Yokozuna Reaction
Oof. That's pretty baller.
Thanks for all the suggestions folks.

Does compressionless brake outer mean longitudinal wires like derailleur outer has - rather than spiral which I think my brake outers have?
-
• #92272
Indeed, with something around that to stop it exploding, KEB has Kevlar, most of the cheaper BMX stuff has steel braids I think, so weighs more but works as well.

I’ve had lifeline professional which is not official compressionless but is decent, Dura Ace which is brilliant and Jagwire KEB-SL which is also very good.

What would everyone's recommendation be for a Bluetooth speaker that's both weatherproof and has a micro SD slot?

Do you have a good source for the bmx outers?

Thanks everyone for helping, my google-fu won in the end. I found her in an article called something like 'female rappers we forgot we loved'
