What is the most wet proof freehub design?
A fixed wheel :) All freehubs are compromised by the fact that seal drag between the rotor and the hub shell turns the sprockets forwards when you stop pedalling, leading to flapping chain and slow pick up. The interior bearing seals are OK because they have a small diameter, so the seal drag doesn't have a large moment. The problem comes at the junction between the rotor and the hub shell, where you have to create a seal that's about 35-40mm in diameter. Contact seals are better than labyrinth, and labyrinth is better than nothing.
Store the bike in a warm dry place, and pull the freehub off and clean it if you've been riding in particularly wet or filthy conditions. If you can't do that, prioritise designs which are cheap to repair.

I see diy is possible
Injecting grease there won't do anything for the vulnerable area.

New 9S chain put on by mechanic developed several stiff links in a matter of days and is a massive PITA. Upon closer inspection the links say it's a 'Z90' 9 speed chain ie some unknown POS, I think. Bin it and get a Shimano one or could there be something else that's causing the stiff links?

Are the Tektro FL750 levers ok? Or are there some better for the same price?
Need some flat bar levers for road calipers. No silly 2 finger tiny levers -
• #88561
I use these with road calipers, dunno if you're supposed to or not?

Annoyingly they just put the price up. They were approx £13 a few days ago, and came with the inner and outer brake cables too.

Get spotify
Especially if you've more than 1 person in the fam who likes music. Family account gets you 5 or 6 separate accounts for total 14.99 a month. Better than a tenner each normally

I have kids. Go gentle on me.
I don't have many subscriptions, what's the point in renting multiple times when you know you're going to watch frozen at least 17 times this month? -

The more I think about it the more I think this would be a way for someone in a similar situation to me.
