^ If it's not immediately obvious, I am a complete novice when it comes to all of this.

Are there any browsers that still allow you to have your tabs at the bottom/how the hell do I move tabs to the bottom on this Firefox Quantum bollocks?
I don't know why the universal rule now seems to be tabs at the top of the screen, I want them just above the taskbar as that's where you select stuff. I blame Google.

Who doesn't have their autohide taskbar at the top of the screen?

Cant find the answer to this, hoping the hive mind can help.
I have a nexus 3 speed rear hub. What chain and chainring do I want to run on this? 1/8? I have no idea what I'm doing.
-
• #87731
You can use either 1/8 or 3/32 depending on the cog you get.

Bit too cold at the moment but watching the surfers in English Garden is fun.

Beer gardens too.
Best advice is also to go in summer.

I remember having an ok meal at this place, we went on the schnitzel buffet day.
Had a nice day waking around Nymphenburg Palace and it's gardens, might be a bit cold for that.

Just broke the pulley wheels on an old 5 speed Shimano Tourney Derailleur. The RD as a whole is pretty grim so I'm not inclined to replace the whole thing.
99% it's friction shifter. Am I best off getting this:
Or is there a more easily available new 5 speed compatible RD I could use?
Cheers.
EDIT: this looks like a better option: https://www.ebay.com/itm/Shimano-Tourney-TY-15-Rear-Derailleur-New-Old-Stock-TY-15-SS/382290846290?epid=1941471965&hash=item59024f6252:g:K78AAOSwUuFWvof-

Wouldn't you be further ahead with a new one?

Any dérailleur is five speed compatible if you use friction levers and 8-speed chain

This might be OK

What would happen if I used a 5 speed chain? (don't really want to buy or replace the chain)
Would it just be a bit rough on the pull wheels? Or would it get totally stuck?

What would happen if I used a 5 speed chain?
On a more modern RD, it might rub or even jam in the pulley cage, because they are designed for narrower chain. 8-speed is typically 6.6mm pin length and will probably run OK in RDs designed for up to 11-speed (~5.6mm pin length). Before skinny flush riveted bushingless chains arrived in the 1980s, dérailleur bikes used standard 3/32" chain with pins of about 7.8mm, so pulley cages were made wide enough to accommodate it.
I'm mystified that anybody would take an old chain off and not replace it, if you shop around you can find basic 8-speed dérailleur chain for a fiver.

I'm trying to remember the name of a concept/thing - the space between what the mind knows to be real and what the mind knows to be fake. Like an uncertainty, specifically, if I remember correctly, what it comes to identifying if something is a true human or not. I remember seeing some sort of graph where at one end the brain knows something to be real, at the other the brain knows something to be fake and this concept describes the space in the middle. Any ideas?

I like it, but to me it would sound better without the 'V'.

I'll second the Deutsches Museum.
If you are at all interested in technology and stuff, this is fantastic. Have been there a few times, as kid, teenager, grown-up. Never ceases to amaze.

I'll only have time to do one thing so the Deutsches Museum it is. Thanks guys.

Is it theoretically possible to combine a SRAM extralong cage and wide-range cassette with a double chainring? Just curious really - not sure if it’d even be a wise idea.

How long is extra-long? I've got 10-speed 11-36 and 50/34 working no problem. How small a ratio do you need?
Edit: actually I was going to use an 11-40 but decided that was just madness and returned the cassette. Didn't actually try it though so don't know if it would have worked.

50/34 and 11-42 would give you 22 gear inches at the low end and 124 at the top, which would presumably cover loaded touring on steep hills at the low end and flat-out sprinting at the top. It's a silly range, but I'm just thinking about the options - I do a bit of bikepacking, some audaxing, the occasional sportive and it'd be nice to be able to keep up with a Sunday morning club run on the same bike.

Tried to find a website building thread but couldn't. So I appeal to the polymaths that frequent this thread...
I'm building an e-commerce website using WordPress and Flatsome. Yesterday, I integrated WooCommerce products onto one of my five pages and the UX builder is now incredibly slow. Is this coincidence or might I have done something stupid? Any obvious reasons why the Wordpress website builder would be so slow?
