Have a really hearty breakfast, porridge, fruit and plenty of water. This is what I usually have and it keeps me full till 1130ish cycling 17 miles to work. Then I usually have some more fruit to see me through till lunch.

Can't. If I have more than 2/3 c (uncooked measure) oatmeal, sometimes with the banana, and a tiny cup of coffee I get pukey on the ride. I have an hour commute and have to be at work at 8:45, so getting up earlier than I already do isn't really an option. But you do a longer commute than I do...more power to ya!
