I'm stuck in a country where it's not possible to draw money from my bank account / credit card and I only have about 60 euros in my pocket, which will go far enough to survive up to a week. Any ideas?

This is the problem... You can't. The Iranian financial system stands on its own and is closed off from the world thanks to the Muricans

I have some bibs which ride up a lot. With the exceptions of shaving my legs or somehow gaining Godzilla legs, could I treat the gripper with something to make it more er...grippy?
Has anyone used this stuff?

Why do riders use 'car up' and 'car down' to indicate cars ahead/behind a group, given no-one seems to be able to agree on which is which?
-

I'm not familiar with either term.

Because they think they're right.
I use car front or car back - it's unambiguous but not the 'classic' phrases. -

Within a particular club (or club ride) the orientation will usually be consistent, and obvious from the first few calls.
It's been consistent the few times I've done group riding:-
- down = down your throat (e.g. ahead of you)
- up = up your arse (e.g. behind you)
But then riding Audaxes all round the country, with people from all round the country, does open you up to the wide variation in terms. "Oil up" instead of "car up", or the up/down switch, etc.
- down = down your throat (e.g. ahead of you)

Exactly, my club consistently uses down [your throat]/up [your arse] as you do, and I'm pretty sure VCL does too, but then I went on a Brixton ride and it's consistently the other way round, and on the Ride of the Falling Leaves the other day a mixture which confused everyone.
Does feel like both should be deprecated for something unambiguous, as per @hamrack.

I'd never heard the throat/arse thing, so have never had any idea why people shouted "up" for behind and "down" for in front, as it makes no fucking sense without the context.
I'll continue to use "up" for "up the road" and back meaning, well, back.
