Best solution is to ask them? pretty unusual for the lockring to stick out like this.

That's weird. A stupid question I know, but you did make sure the larger sprockets were pushed as far as they could on the freehub body?
-

It's up to David/LFGSS to fix that- you can't.

@edscoble I sent an email yesterday. Its more a question, of myself not sure if I've done something really stupid, and also eager to ride a new bike. Wheels are the only thing not sorted.
@andyp Yup, checked the sprockets were pushed back as far as possible. They do seem to be eating into the back of the free hub a bit each time I put them back on. Haven't got for the full 50nm yet as they aren't even close.

Spacer not stuck to the inside of the largest sprocket?
It has been known..... -

Rebuilt the cassette and included one extra sprocket by accident?

I'd be quite surprised if it wasn't 28.6, but you have found the excuse you seem to need to add a digital caliper to your tool box. Once you have one, you'll wonder how you ever lived without.

What is the best delivery service for sending a wheel within the UK?
-
• #79121
aggregators like parcel2go or parcelmonkey do the trick.

But if something goes awry, you have to deal with the actual courier via the (parcel) monkey: this does not end well IME.
I use Parcel Farce: not that they're any better or worse than the others, but I can drop off at the PO, rather than waiting for a courier not to show up.

Pretty much the same reason why I use Parcelforce - Easier for sender and recipient. Plus you can pay through Quidco, and they've usually got a ~10% voucher code on the go as well.

I've used Send It Now a fair bit recently - delivery through Parcelforce and you get the option to drop stuff off yourself

having a hard time finding singlespeed 700c disc wheels - are there any OTP options?
Spacer at the back? Get the tools off sofa!
